Alanis Morissette is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record creater.
Alanis Morissette has gone onto release seven studio albums in total from 1991 until 2008. Her third album, Jagged Little Pill, was an extreme success staying at number one for 12 consecutive weeks. It is also one of three albums to remain in the top 10 for over a year and possibly Alanis's greatest album.
Her first record, Alanis, was released in Canada only, in 1991. It did extremely well and was certified platinum.

Alanis Morissette was engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds however in 2007 it was announced they had ended their engagement.
