Alicia Keys is an American R&B, soul singer/songwriter and musician. Her first record, Songs in A Minor, was released in 2001 and was extremely successful being certified six times Platinum and helped Alicia Keys win five Grammy Awards in 2002. The album created the hit singles, Fallin, and A Woman's Worth.
Alicia has since had another two albums, a live album, Unplugged, and her third studio album, As I Am. Both albums were successful and reached number one in both the US and UK charts, Unplugged, went Platinum, and As I Am, went three times Platinum.
Alicia Key's second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys, was released in 2003 and extremely successful becoming the second-biggest selling album by a female R&B artist and certified four times Platinum. Alicia went on to win another four Grammy Awards in 2005 including one for Best R&B Album.
