America Ferrera is an American Actress born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is greatest known for her role in TV series 'Ugly Betty' as main character Betty Suarez.
Since starting her career America has starred in other Hit movies like 'Lords of Dogtown', 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' and 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2', due to be released in 2008.
America started acting at the age of 8 in theatre and school. In 2002 America had her first role in a Movie, she played Yolanda in a Disney TV Movie 'Gotta Kick It Up'. She then went to star in her first hit movie ?Real Women Have Curves' in the same year.
Since starting her career America has starred in other Hit movies like 'Lords of Dogtown', 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' and 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2', due to be released in 2008.
She has also has roles in tv series 'Touched by an Angel', and her role in Ugly Betty.
