Barbara Windsor

About:
Barbara Windsor hit our screens and became a household name back in the sixties when she appeared in, Carry On Spying. After this she went on to appear in another 10 Carry On Films. The most well-known being, Carry on Camping, in which her bikini top fly's off.
Barbara was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2000 Queen's New Year's Honours List.
Barbara gradually disappeared from our screens and started to consider quitting acting until she was offered the role of Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders back in 1994. She took them up on the offer and has been awarded Best Actress at the British Soap Awards for her performances as Peggy Mitchell.

Barbara has been married three times and divorced twice, she has been married to Scott Mitchell since April 2000.
