Beverley Knight is an English soul and R&B singer, songwriter and record creater.
In 2002 Beverley released her third studio album, Who I Am, which is her most commercially successful album to date and was also certified Gold.
Beverley Knight released her first record back in 1995, The B-Funk. It was critically well received even winning to Black Music Awards but was not received as well commercially. Beverley's second album, Prodigal Sista, however was more of a success with the album being certified Gold and Beverley winning three MOBO Awards.
In 2002 Beverley released her third studio album, Who I Am, which is her most commercially successful album to date and was also certified Gold.
Beverley has since gone on to create another two studio albums, Affirmation, and Music City Soul, as well as a compilation album, Voice - The Best of Beverley Knight.
In 2007 Beverley Knight was presented with an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to music and charities.
