Brandy is an American R&B singer-songwriter, record creater and actor. She released her first record, Brandy in 1994 at the young age of 15 and it was extremely successful being certified quadruple platinum in the USA and even being nominated for two Grammy Awards.
Brandy is also an actor and started acting whilst recording her first record as she landed the role of Danesha in the sitcom, Thea. Her first starring role came in 1996 when she played Moesha Mitchell in the most watched show on UPN, Moesha. Since then Brandy has gone on to appear in various different movies including, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Cinderella, and Double Platinum.
Brandy has gone on to release four studio albums, with another due for release in 2008, with Never Say Never, being the best-selling album.
