Date of Birth: 14/02/1988

Place of Birth: Avalon Beach, Australia

About:

As the daughter of first generation Brazilian immigrants, Australian born Elissa Sursara (born February 14th, 1988) grew up along the serene and beautiful ocean-side in the Sydney water-side community of Avalon Beach before finding her feet and a hectic schedule as a Hollywood actor.

Finishing high school with honors and acceptance to America's YALE University as an international student, an unsure Elissa, who planned to study Psychology or act, chose to defer her studies for one year before making the life changing decision to pursue acting in Hollywood. Hand-picked to play the female lead by writer and director Catherine Hardwicke in a 2008 indie film Age Aint Nothin' But A Number, and with attachment to Steven Spielberg, Elissa Sursara, dubbed the Star of the next generation, plans to continue acting and supporting charities, Ten years from now I want to be doing this same thing, working and giving, working and giving... and maybe have a little fun too!

After Head of her school Arts Department recommended Elissa to a talent agent, after watching her fill in for an absent student in a class play, Elissa combined castings and auditions with long-division and science homework, adding commercial credit after credit to her resume. With her first professional gig, a Pepsi commercial (aired in Australia, Europe, United States and Japan) at age 11, Elissa continued her theatrical endeavour through-out high school, appearing in commercials, landing minor guest roles and guest starring roles in a series of Australian and American TV dramas, playing the love interest in a number of music videos, and found herself at the centre of US Stars Of The Future hype.
