Hilary gained fame by playing the main role as Lizzie in kids TV show Lizzie McGuire. The show was first aired on the Disney Channel in January 2001 and was a hit drawing in 2.3 million viewers per episode.
In 2002 Hilary launched her music career with an album of Christmas songs. She has since released four more albums, Metamorphosis-2003, Hilary Duff-2004, Most Wanted-2005 and Dignity in 2007.
Hilary has also starred in various different movies like, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Cheaper By The Dozen, Cheaper By The Dozen 2, A Cinderella Story, The Perfect Man and Material Girls.
