Hilary Swank is an American actor, she has appeared in many successful movies, and has also appeared in various different TV shows.
Hilary started her career in acting appearing in various different TV series like Evening Shade, Growing Pains and also guest starred in Harry and the Henderson?s. Hilary?s first role in a Hollywood film was in Buffy and The Vampire Slayer in which she played a small role as Kimberly Hannah. She then went on to star in many other movies like The Next Karate Kid, in which she played a major role.
Hilary has a busy year ahead in 2008 with 5 movies due to be released in which she is starring in, like Birds of America, Iron Man, and The Waking.
Since staring in her first Hollywood movie she has had roles in many other major movies, like The Gift, Insomnia, The Core, The Black Dahlia, and P.S., I Love You. She has also has two Academy Award winning roles in the movies Boys Don?t Cry And in Million Dollar baby, where she starred as a struggling waitress, turned boxer. She has also won many other awards, like Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards and Independent Spirit Awards. She has also been nominated for MTV Movie Awards and BAFTA Awards.
