Jack Black is an American actor, comedian and musician.
Jack Black's career then started to take off and he was offered roles in box office hits like, Shallow Hal, School of Rock, and King Kong.
Jack's acting career started by playing various different roles in shows like The X-Files, and Life Goes On. He went on to have small roles in movies including, Mars Attacks! The Cable Guy, and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
Jack Black's career then started to take off and he was offered roles in box office hits like, Shallow Hal, School of Rock, and King Kong.
As well as acting Jack Black is a part of the rock group Tenacious D.
Jack Black dated actor and comedian Laura Kightlinger from 1997 until 2005. Jack then married Tanya Haden in 2006 and they have a son together Samuel, and have announced they're expecting their second child.

Better yet, Stiller should have gone with his original stunt-casting idea and cast Keanu Reeves in his role, or at least an actual character actor to riff on themselves the way Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. do so well here. Hell... he should have given the role to Tom Cruise ...
