Janet Jackson is an American singer-songwriter, actor and dancer. She first became known as the sister of Michael Jackson and the rest of The Jackson five.
Janet Jackson has since released 9 more studio albums, the most successful being her fifth album, Janet. It reached number one in 22 countries and sold eight million copies worldwide. The album resulted in Janet receiving awards including a Grammy Award.
At the age of 15 Janet released her first record, Janet Jackson, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard R&B albums chart and was a reasonable success.
