About:
JoJo is an American pop and R&B singer; she is also a songwriter, record creater and actor.
She has since released another album called The High Road in 2006 which received positive reviews. JoJo has also stated that she is hoping to release her third album once she turns 18.
In 2004 JoJo rose to fame with her hit debut the album JoJo. Her Platinum-certified debut single Leave (Get Out) was also released in 2004, it hit the no.2 spot in the UK charts and no.12 in the US charts. JoJo became the youngest nominee for greatest new artist at the MTV Video Music Awards.
She has since released another album called The High Road in 2006 which received positive reviews. JoJo has also stated that she is hoping to release her third album once she turns 18.
As well as a singer JoJo has appeared in various different television programmes and movies, like The Bernie Mac Show, and Aquamarine. JoJo is starring in a film set for release in 2008, True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet.
