About:
KT Tunstall Is a Scottish Singer and Songwriter. She first came in the public eye in 2005 when she performed her single 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' on tv show 'Later with Jools Holland'. Kate had previously released her debut single Throw Me a Rope in early 2004, but it did not reach the UK charts.
Kate has also been nominated for various different awards like two Grammy Awards and three BRIT Awards, Winning 'Best British Female Solo Artist' at the BRITS in 2006.
After being seen on the show and have great feedback she then went on to re-release her first record 'Eye to the Telescope' in 2006. The album reached no.3 in the UK charts. KT has since released two more albums 'KT Tunstall's Acoustic Extravaganza' and 'Drastic Fantastic'. Both albums were very successful in the UK.
