Kylie Minogue rose to fame after appearing in Neighbours as Charlene Mitchell. Her first single release was, Locomotion, and spent seven weeks at number one in Australia. Kylie then came to the UK and recorded, I Should Be So Lucky, which reached number one both in the UK and Australia.
Kylie then left neighbours to concentrate on her music career and has since released 10 studio albums, has been awarded a Grammy award and Brit awards.
Kylie Minogue then released her first record, Kylie, which reached number one in the UK album charts and became the year?s highest selling album.

Kylie Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer during her Showgirl - The Greatest Hits Tour and therefore took time out of the limelight to be treated and resumed her Showgirl tour in 2006.
In May 2007 Kylie launched her own beachwear range in the high-street store, H&M which was very successful.
Kylie is always featured in the media for her fashion as well as her music and also her relationships, she recently split up from the French actor Olivier Martinez.
