As well as music LL Cool J has launched his own clothing line, Todd Smith, and has authored three books, I Make My Own Rules, And The Winner Is... and The Platinum Workout.
He released his first album in 1985, Radio, which went Platinum and is now set to release his 13th album, Exit 13.
