Leonardo DiCaprio's acting career started in 1989 when he appeared on the television. His debut movie appearance came around two years later in the film, Critters 3.
Leonardo DiCaprio then went on to feature in various different movies until he played Jack Dawson in the 1997 blockbuster, Titanic, which saw him shoot to superstardom. The film, Titanic, is the highest grossing movie of all time and received 11 Academy Awards.
His breakthrough came after appearing alongside Robert De Niro in, This Boy's Life, and then in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, which earned him an Academy Award nomination at the age of 19.
