About:
Her first appearance on television was in ?Grange Hill? in 1978 at 11 years old. In 1984 she landed a part in ?Brookside?, and not long after she lied about where she grew up to land a part in ?Eastenders?.
After leaving ?Eastenders? in 1995, she appeared in a number of TV seriess including, ?Casualty?, ?Doctors?, ?The Bill? and ?Drop the Dead Donkey?. She returned to ?Eastenders? in 2001.
In 1986 she released a single with her fellow cast mate Paul Medford, ?Something Outta Nothing? which reached number 12.
After leaving ?Eastenders? in 1995, she appeared in a number of TV seriess including, ?Casualty?, ?Doctors?, ?The Bill? and ?Drop the Dead Donkey?. She returned to ?Eastenders? in 2001.
Letitia is a singer and loves to tap dance. She is also only one of three original members of the soap ?Eastenders?, along with Pauline and Ian as she has appeared in the soap (on and off) since the age of 17 and for over 20 years.
Letitia Dean also took part in the 2007 Strictly Come Dancing, where she came fourth out of the original 14.
Letitia Dean was married to media executive Jason Pethers but after five years of marriage they separated in 2007.
