Lindsey Lohan is known for her acting roles, but not only does she act she also sings, and is well known for being a socialite and mixing with her party girl friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
Since Lindsey has also landed main roles in the movies 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' and hit teen film 'Mean Girls', both movies were released in 2004. Lindsey also had another big role in 2005 for the Disney film 'Herbie: Fully Loaded. her next big movies were 'Just My Luck' and 'Bobby' where she starred alongside Elijah Wood.
In 1998 Lindsey appeared in her first film Parent Trap, and after that she starred in two television movies, and in 2003 she also got the lead teen role for film 'Freaky Friday'.

Lindsey later admitted that she nearly died and has since gained and lost weight again and has also been rushed to hospital after passing out on set when filming, and recovering from nights out with her friends on the town.
As well as her acting career Lindsay has released two studio albums with a third said to be due in 2008. Her first album was, Speak and was certified Platinum and reached number four in the Billboard 200. Lindsay's second album, A Little More Personal (Raw), debuted at 20 in the Billboard charts and was certified Gold.
Lindsay is constantly in the media spotlight and has been in and out of rehab and has been arrested twice due to driving under the influence and possession of cocaine. In 2007 it was announced that Lindsay would serve one day in jail, 10 days in community service and be on probation for a maximum of three years, however Lindsay only spent 84 minutes in custody until she was released.
