Nelly Furtado is a Canadian singer and songwriter.
Nelly Furtado's second album, Folklore, was released in 2003 and wasn't as successful as her first record.
Nelly's first record, Whoa, Nelly! was released in 2000 and was an international success. It included the singles, I'm Like a Bird, and Turn off the Light. The album was nominated for four Grammy Awards in 2002 and her debut single won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Nelly Furtado's second album, Folklore, was released in 2003 and wasn't as successful as her first record.
Nelly Furtado's third album was released in 2006, Loose, and was primarily created by Timbaland. The album included the hit singles, Maneater, All Good Things (Come to an End), Say It Right, Do It, and Promiscuous. This album has been Nelly's most successful to date, reaching number one in various different countries.
Nelly Furtado has also begun to advertise for the newly released iPod classic.
Nelly was seeing DJ Jasper Gahunia until 2005 and they have a daughter together, Nevis. It has been reported that Nelly is in a relationship with sound engineer Demacio Castellon.
