Nick Lachey is a former member of American group 98 Degrees. He formed the group with his brother Drew Lachey along with Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons. The group released many albums. In 2006 the group stated they will have another album in the near future after Nick and Jeff Timmons had both released their solo albums.
In 2005 it was announced that Nick and wife Jessica Simpson were splitting and divorced in early 2006. Nick also co-starred in the series 'Newlyweds' with Jessica, a show about the couple and their newly married life. The show premiered on MTV in August 2003.
Nicks debut solo album SoulO was released in November 2003, the album only reached no.51 in Us charts and had poor reviews. His second album 'What?s Left Of Me' released in May 2006 reached no.2 in the US charts and no.91 in the UK.
