Owen Wilson's successful career then turned him in a movie star after he got his big break in 2000 when he starred in the comedy, Shanghai Noon.

In August 2007 Owen Wilson was taken in hospital after a suspected suicide attempt, he allegedly took an overdose of pills and slashed his wrists. Owen seems to have made a full recovery and has since made appearances at the premiere of, The Darjeeling Limited, and at the 2008 Oscars.
