Pink was born Alecia Beth Moore and was an R&B artist. Her first album, Can?t Take Me Home contained hits, There You Go, and You Make me Sick. However, Pink did not like her image or the type of music she was producing.
Pink?s second album Misundaztood showed the world she was not another pop artist and created songs more to Pink?s liking. The album was successful and created songs like Get the Party Started, Don?t Let Me Get Me, and Family Portrait. Her single, Just Like A Pill, became her first number one hit in the UK charts. This album created an alternative rock sound and image. The album was the second most popular in 2002 and Pink became the greatest selling female artist worldwide.
She won her first Grammy Award for the song Lady Marmalade which she performed with Mya, Christina Aguilera and Lil? Kim.

Try This was Pink?s third album and was released in 2003. The singles from the album, Trouble, God Is A DJ, and Last To Know did not do as well as previous singles. However, Trouble won her a second Grammy. Pink toured Europe as it was a huge success, but made no plans to tour in the US.
Pink?s fourth album, I?m Not Dead, released in 2006 was released six years after her first album was released. A DVD was released after containing concert footage from her Try This tour.
In 2006 Pink married motocross racer Carey Hart, however Carey announced in 2008 that they have separated and Pink has now filed for divorce however the two have remained good friends.
