The Pussycat Dolls are an American girl group, and dance ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995. It started as a dance group and then in 2003 was turned in a music group.
The Pussycat Dolls first hit single was, Don't Cha, which went to number one in multiple countries. The single was followed by their first record, PCD which went Platinum multiple times in various different countries including the US and the UK.
The Pussycat Dolls consist of Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.

In March 2008 Carmit Bachar left the group but they are continuing as a five-piece. They also had their own TV series, Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, however the winner, Asia Nitollano, decided to pursue a solo career instead.
