Ryan Gosling is a Canadian actor whose first acting experience was alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera in The Mickey Mouse Club. He later appeared in other television series including Goosebumps, Young Hercules, and Breaker High.
Ryan Gosling also starred in the 2006 film, Half Nelson, where he would play Dan Dunne, a drug-addicted, junior high school teacher. For the role Ryan moved to Brooklyn, shadowed a middle school teacher and studied the Civil Rights Movement. His hard work paid off and he won Best Actor at the Spirit Awards and was also nominated for an Academy and Screen Actors Guild Award.
In 2001 Ryan Gosling appeared in the controversial drama, The Believer, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Ryan then received more roles including ones in, Murder by Numbers, and The Notebook.
