Anthony Hopkins is a welsh actor who was spotted back in 1965 by Sir Laurence Olivier and started out in theatre. Anthony Hopkins has now starred in way over sixty movies.

Anthony has won numerous awards including, two Emmy awards, an Academy Award for Best Actor, and three BAFTA Awards. In 2006 he was also awarded the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.

Anthony Hopkins most memorable performances is probably as the serial killer Hannibal Lecter in, The silence of the Lambs, for which he won an Oscar for.

Anthony has won numerous awards including, two Emmy awards, an Academy Award for Best Actor, and three BAFTA Awards. In 2006 he was also awarded the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.

Anthony Hopkins has been married three times, to Petronella Barker, Jennifer Lynton and he is now with Stella Arroyave. He has one daughter from his first marriage, Abigail.
