Sir Cliff Richard is an English singer. He started his career in a group named, Cliff Richard and the Drifters. Richard was signed in 1958 and released his first single in July, Move It, which went in at number two in the UK charts.
Cliff Richard has also had top 10 hits in the last six decades, and had a number one single in five of the decades.
Cliff Richard then went on to create his first album, Cliff, which reached number four in the UK charts. Cliff has since released around 80 albums (including compilations), and has scored more than 14 number one singles in the UK, which is more than other artists including, Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Cliff Richard has also had top 10 hits in the last six decades, and had a number one single in five of the decades.
As well as singing Cliff Richard has appeared in a couple of movies like, Summer Holiday, and The Young Ones.
Cliff Richard was knighted in 1995 and is now permitted to use Sir Cliff Richard. Cliff Richard has also released three books, The Way I See It Now, Single-Minded and autobiography and, Cliff Richard-The Biography.
