System of a Down are an American rock group that was formed in 1995. Members include, John Dolmayan, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, Serj Tankian, and former member Andy Khacaturian.
The group announced in 2006 they were going on a break for at least a few years and doing their own individual things but not splitting up.
System of a Down have released five studio albums, all which have been certified at least Platinum. Their most successful album was certified three times platinum, Toxicity.
