T-Pain is an American singer, songwriter and creater.
T-Pain's solo debut single was released in 2005, I'm Sprung, and his first record, Rappa Ternt Sanga, was released 3 months later. I'm Sprung, was a hit and the following single was too, I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper).
T-Pain founded his own label in 2002 and reworked a version of Akon's Locked Up, as I'm Fucked Up. Akon heard the song and signed T-Pain to his Konvict Music record label.

T-Pain has since released a second album, Epiphany, and features on other artists records including, R. Kellys I'm A Flirt, Chris Brown's Kiss Kiss, and Kanye West's Good Life.
T-Pain won a Grammy Award in 2008 for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Kanye West on, Good Life. He also won a Vibe Award for Song of the Year in 2007 for, Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin).
