Uma Thurman is an American actor. She started her career as a model at the age of 15. Her breakthrough role in acting was in the 1988 film, Dangerous Liaisons.
As well as being an actor Uma Thurman has become the spokeswoman for the cosmetics company Lanc?me, Louis Vuitton and Virgin Media.
One of Uma Thurman's biggest roles came around in 1994 when Uma was offered the role of Mia in Quentin Tarantino's cult film, Pulp Fiction. Since then Uma has starred in various different movies including, Batman & Robin, Kill Bill, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and The Accidental Husband.
As well as being an actor Uma Thurman has become the spokeswoman for the cosmetics company Lanc?me, Louis Vuitton and Virgin Media.
Uma Thurman married director Phil Joanou in 1990 but divorced two years later. Uma then married actor Ethan Hawke in 1998 and they had two children together, Maya and Levon. They divorced in 2004 and Uma is said to be seeing Arpad Busson.
